Sowore, and other activists have been remanded in prison.

The Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, and four other activists have been remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre by a Magistrate’s Court sitting in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, on Monday, pending the hearing of their bail applications.

Reports reaching OnyxNews Nigeria state that, Sowore and the other activists’ official bail applications would be heard on Tuesday, January 5, 2020.
The publisher of SaharaReporters and the other activists were arraigned on Monday on three charges of criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and attempting to incite others.
