Full List of The 16th Headies Awards Winners Emerge

The 16th Headies Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, USA, on Sunday, September 3, 2023, amid pomp and pageantry.

The 16th Headies Awards, tagged “Celebrating African Renaissance,” was hosted by Nollywood actress, Osas Ighodaro and American media personality, Terrence J.

Asake, Odumodublvck, Young Jonn, Wande Coal, Kcee, Black Sherif, and others thrilled the audience with electrifying performances.

Rema won the Best Male Artiste of the Year award, while Asake walked home with a brand new car after winning the highly coveted Next Rated category.

Similarly, Odumodublvck won a house in Lagos after he was named the Rookie of the Year.

After all the back and forth on social media, neither Blaqbonez nor TG Omori got the award for Best Music Video of the Year; Director K won the category.

However, while receiving his award for the Best Rap Album of the Year which he won for ‘The Young Preacher’, Blaqbonez insisted that “TG Omori and I are still the best directors.”

Overall, Rema led with three awards, including Best Male Artiste of the Year, Digital Artiste of the Year and African Artiste Of The Year.
