14 Referees Penalized Over Poor Officiating By NFF
The referees committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, punished 14 referees by suspending them for poor performance.
The committee made the announcement via a statement released on Monday.
There have been several questionable calls by referees in the Nigeria Premier Football League,NPFL, this season.
The Nigerian Football Federation recently penalized Imamu Maliki for incorrectly disallowing a goal during a match between Remo Stars and Bendel Insurance.
The committee will investigate and require video footage of the match.
