Osimhen Signs New Napoli Contract
According to recent reports, Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian international and talented forward, has recently signed a fresh contract with Napoli, the reigning champions of Italy’s Serie A.
The new contract is set to last for one year, keeping Osimhen at the club until 2026.
Significantly, the agreement includes a release clause worth approximately €130 million, providing a stipulated amount for interested clubs to trigger if they wish to acquire Osimhen.
Additionally, as part of the contract extension, Osimhen will receive a substantial increase in his salary.
Osimhen initially joined Napoli in 2020, leaving his former team Lille in Ligue 1.
Since then, he has demonstrated his exceptional skills and has gained recognition as one of the top strikers in the world.
Last season, in particular, Osimhen played a crucial role in Napoli’s victory, scoring an impressive 26 goals in 32 matches.
This triumph marked Napoli’s first Scudetto win in 33 years.
With his notable performances and continued growth, fans and football enthusiasts have high expectations for Osimhen’s future success with Napoli.
