Tinubu: Reviving Economy and Uplifting the Poor Remain Government’s Core Goals

President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s resolve to build an inclusive and prosperous Nigeria, focusing on economic revival and poverty alleviation.
Speaking at the Ansar-ud-Deen Society’s conference in Abeokuta, Tinubu, represented by Deputy Governor Noimot Salako-Oyedele, emphasized, “We are focused on reviving the economy, uplifting the poor and restoring confidence in public institutions.”
He called on Nigerians to prioritize peaceful coexistence and justice, recognizing Ansar-ud-Deen’s century-long contributions to education and community welfare. “The society has become a critical pillar of our national fabric,” Tinubu said.
The President urged Muslims to be ambassadors of justice and compassion, stressing the importance of engaging constructively with society. He encouraged the conference to propose bold ideas for addressing youth and economic challenges.
Dr. Abdulrafiu Sanni, the society’s president, described the conference as a platform for reflection and strategic planning, reaffirming a commitment to education, moral values, and unity.
