New Petrol Price Has Been Announced By Energy And Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
OnyxNews Nigeria gathered that people of Kenya will continue to face tough situation in their economic after Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) increased the prices of fuel on Monday March 15, 2021.
This increase of course has leads to increase in transport costs across the country.
According to the Energy And Petroleum Regulatory Authority, below is the cost breakdown of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene for the period 15th February – 14th March 2021.
This increase comes when the price of crude oil increases in the middle east countries which is the major source of petroleum to many countries across the world.
Meanwhile, Homa Bay Senator, Moses Kajwang has slammed the Government for increasing fuel prices during this time when Kenyans are still suffering from the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic where many Kenyans lost their jobs.

Senator Kajwang said: “It is immoral and poor timing for EPRA to increase fuel prices knowing very well how COVID-19 has decimated the fortune of Kenyans. It is an action that makes the government appear insensitive to the needs of the people.”
