UEFA Nations League: Semi-final Draw Confirmed [Full Fixtures]
Germany secured a spot in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals on Sunday night, despite a 3-3 draw with Italy.
Joshua Kimmich starred in the first half, scoring a penalty and assisting goals for Jamal Musiala and Tim Kleindienst, giving Germany a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.
Moise Kean struck twice to revive Italy’s hopes, and Giacomo Raspadori netted a stoppage-time penalty to add late drama. However, Germany held on to advance with a 5-4 aggregate victory.
Portugal also progressed after defeating Denmark 5-2 on the night, overturning a 1-0 first-leg loss.
France edged past Croatia, winning 2-0 in the second leg to level the tie at 2-2 before prevailing 5-4 in a penalty shootout.
Spain, held to a 3-3 draw by the Netherlands, also triumphed 5-4 on penalties.
