Update: Popular former Super Eagles’ player declared wanted

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Raheem Lawal has been declared wanted by the Turkish police.
Sports Extra reports that Lawal has also been fired by his Turkish second division club, Fatih Karagumruk, after he was involved in a night club fight in Istanbul.
29-year-old Lawal, who joined the football club last summer after a protracted injury, allegedly broke an unidentified person’s head at the night club.
According to the Turkish Football League’s verified Twitter handle, the midfielder is wanted by the police in Turkey.
The tweet read: “Karagumruk has fired Lawal, who is wanted by the police for breaking a bottle in a person’s head in a fight in a nightclub in Istanbul.”
Lawal, had scored seven times in nine games this season before he was fired.
