Video: Biometric device introduced in UNIPORT
The management of the University of Port Harcourt has introduced the use of a biometric device for students’ attendance to lectures in the school.
The switch from manual to electronic is expected to stop absenteeism of students from lectures. And motivate other schools in Nigeria to introduce the device to monitor the movement of students in institutions.
A video which has already gone viral on social media, showed students of the university making use of the device during a lecture.
