APGA Rejects Valentine Ozigbo’s Claim of Soludo’s Involvement in APC’s Anambra Campaign

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has reacted sharply to allegations by Valentine Ozigbo, APC governorship aspirant, accusing Anambra Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of sponsoring APC’s candidate Nicholas Ukachukwu to weaken the party.
Ozigbo, who lost to Ukachukwu in the APC primary, made the claim in a televised interview, suggesting political sabotage by the APGA governor.
In a press release on Sunday, APGA’s media coordinator Chinedu Obigwe dismissed the allegation as “laughable” and a product of Ozigbo’s “desperation.”
Obigwe remarked that Ozigbo’s political failure is due to his own miscalculations and highlighted that APC has virtually no presence in Anambra State, referencing a past admission by the party’s former state chairman Basil Ejidike to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
He said, “There is nothing to weaken in Anambra APC because the party does not exist in our state.” He added that Governor Soludo has no connection to Ukachukwu and would never support him politically.
The statement concluded, “Ozigbo should be bold enough to say this and stop living a fake and pretentious lifestyle.”
