Felix Clark Arrested with Seven Master Keys, Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Rivers State

The Rivers State Police Command has announced the arrest of Felix Clark, a suspected car thief, during a routine patrol along Abacha Road in the Government Residential Area of Port Harcourt. Clark was found riding a bicycle when he was stopped by officers from the Anti-Cultism Unit.
Superintendent Grace Iringe-Koko, the Command’s spokesperson, detailed that upon searching Clark, police discovered seven master keys, which are commonly used by criminals to illegally access vehicles. This discovery prompted further investigation.
At Clark’s residence, police recovered a stolen red Hyundai Sonata with the registration number EKY 531 GG, linking him directly to the vehicle theft. The car had been reported stolen prior to the arrest.
During questioning, Clark provided crucial information about his accomplices, revealing the presence of his gang members operating in Lagos, Delta, and Edo states. This intelligence is expected to aid ongoing investigations into the criminal network.
The official statement from the police reads: “On Wednesday, May 5, 2025, at 11:30 hours, operatives from the Anti-Cultism Unit, led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Attah Alih, intercepted Felix Clark, who was riding a bicycle along Abacha Road, GRA. Upon search, seven master keys were recovered from the suspect, who was immediately taken to the station for further questioning. Following his arrest and interrogation, a red Hyundai Sonata with registration number EKY 531 GG, previously reported stolen, was recovered from his residence. The suspect has made a useful statement and identified other gang members operating in Delta, Edo, and Lagos States. Investigations are ongoing, and further updates will be provided as developments unfold.”
State Commissioner of Police Olugbenga Adepoju reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety of residents and urged the public to assist the police by providing timely and credible information.
This arrest highlights the proactive measures taken by the Rivers State Police to combat vehicle theft and dismantle organized crime syndicates.
