EFCC detains young man who hacked Access Bank database (Details)

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Ihebuzo Chris for alleged cyber stalking.
Remember the young man, Ihebuzo Chris who recently bragged about hacking into the database of Access Bank and being in possession details of over a thousand people’s bank accounts, he has been arrested and detained in custody of the EFCC.
Ihebuzo, was reportedly arrested in Benin City, capital of Edo State, following a petition received by the Commission from the bank.
According to EFCC officials, Chris will be arraigned to court immediately investigations are concluded.
Chris had, in a viral video, said that the bank’s security was weak for someone like him to have hacked in and gotten confidential details like personal information and Biometric Verification Numbers of over 1000 customers of the bank.
Items seized from the suspected hacker at the time of the arrest, includes; a laptop computer, which he used to upload the viral video, a printout of over 2000 bank details, including the BVN of customers of the bank, 12 blank ATM cards suspected to be for perpetration of his reported criminal activity.
