JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, made this known during a press briefing held on Wednesday in Abuja.

According to him, “we set all machineries in order, regardless, there were still errors.”

“What should have been a moment of joy has changed due to one or two errors,” Oloyede said.

This admission comes amid a surge in complaints from candidates over discrepancies in their UTME scores.

It follows widespread reports of poor performance in the recently concluded examination.

The board has assured the public that any identified technical issues will be swiftly addressed with appropriate corrective actions.

Statistics from the 2025 UTME reveal that 78 percent of candidates scored below 200 out of the maximum 400 points.
