MTN Nigeria CEO Rob Shuter resigns

MTN Nigeria CEO Rob Shuter has tendered his resignation from the Nigeria Telecom Giant.

OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Rob Shuter, who is the President and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of MTN Group Limited, has resigned.
MTN Nigeria Communications Plc made this announcement on Wednesday in the information it posted on the website of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
MTN also stated that the investing public that Shuter’s resignation is effective Sept. 1.
The company’s Secretary, Uto Ukpana, made it public in the notice that Shuter, before his resignation, was President and CEO of MTN Group Limited.
She said, Shuter became a member of the Board of MTN Nigeria on April 13, 2017.
Her words, “The board of MTN Nigeria would like to express its appreciation to Mr. Shuter for his exemplary leadership, focus, and commitment to the success of the company.
“The board wishes him the best in his future endeavours.”
